Steps to Use Visa Direct

   - Apply for the Virtual Visa card service using the telebirr SuperApp under the ‘’My Visa’’ option.

   - You are required to update and set up the telebirr SuperApp on your mobile device for the service.

After registration, you will be notified via SMS to get 16-digit virtual Visa card number that you can see under ‘My Visa card number’ on the telebirr super App.

  • Provide the 16-digit virtual Visa card number generated by the telebirr super App to the sender.
  • Communicate the card details securely to the sender.

   -The sender initiates the transfer using the provided virtual Visa card number.

   - You will receive the transferred money via your telebirr account.
