Ethio telecom invites all interested and eligible bidders by this International Competitive Bid (ICB) for the procurement of National Interconnect & Roaming Provisioning and Management (Advanced Level) ,Channel development and commissioning management (Advanced Level) ,Competitive Intelligence (Advance Level) ,Telecom Product & Service Development and Portfolio Management (Expert Level) ,International internet & data service, provisioning and pricing Training (Advanced Level) ,International interconnect and roaming billing, settlement & fraud handling (Advanced Level) ,International VAS (SMS (A2P/P2P), Toll-free, International Top-up, etc.) management (Advanced Level) ,Managing the Business of Interconnection: Issues & Opportunities Training (Advanced Level) WITH RFQ NO. 4074259-2 The Bid remains floating from March 2, 2022 to March 24, 2022.

Bid documents can be obtained from Ethio telecom’s Head Office, Room No. 201A during office hours (Monday to Friday) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (Birr One hundred only) or you can also find bid documents from web sites www.afrotender.com, www.extratenders.com and www.2merkato.com upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (Birr One hundred only) by using tele birr payment platform.

1. Interested bidders are expected to fulfill the Requirements stated here below:

• • • Original Bid Security;
    • Availability of Letter of Authorization to sign the bid offers;
    • Anti-bribery pledge form;
    • Bidders should have a valid and renewed trade license for the year;
    • Bidders should be VAT registered (for national bidders).
    • Bidders should have Tax clearance certificate.
    • Bidders should submit Legal establishment document (including Joint venture if any).

2. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security in the total amount of Birr 50,000.00 (Birr Fifty Thousand only)  

3. The bid bond shall be furnished in one of the following forms: –

a) Certified Cheque /CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or

b) Bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized /reputable78 Domestic bank.

  3.1The Bank that issues the bond as per 3(b) here above shall unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the first written demand of payment. The Purchaser’s written demand of payment shall not be subject to any condition what so ever.

  3.2 The bond issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under Clause 3.1 here above on the issued bond.

  3.3 The Bid Security shall be issued in the name of the bidder’s/Agent Company as appropriate that participated in the bid;

  3.4 Sealed bids marked as: “for the procurement of Information Storage and Management Training (Advanced Level), Enterprise Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Training (Advanced Level), And Contract Negotiation and Alternative Dispute Resolution Training (Advanced Level) WITH RFQ NO. 4074259-2 and be addressed to:

4. Bid proposal will be received at Ethio telecom, Head Quarter 2^nd Floor, Room   No. 211B, before or on march 24, 2022 until 5:00 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date shall not be accepted.

5. Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on march 25, 2022 at 10:30 A.M, at Ethio telecom, Head Quarter 2^nd Floor, Room No.201A.

6. No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the bidding document that she/he acquired to participate under this invitation. 

7. Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this bidding document. 

8. Partial bid is allowed

9. Ethio telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this bid.
