Bid documents can be obtained from Ethio telecom’s Head Office, Room No. 201A during office hours (Monday to Friday) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr100.00(Birr One Hundred only)or you can find the bidding document from www.afrotender.com, www.extratenders.com and www.2merkato.com web sites starting from the floating date (i.e. April 11, 2022) by using tele birr payment platform by paying non-refundable fee of Birr 100.00 (Birr One Hundred only).
2. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from ethio’s website (i.e. www.ethiotelecom.et), and inspect the bidding document upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Birr100.00 (Birr One Hundred only); in person from Head Quarter, 2nd Floor, and Room No 201A. In addition, bidders can access bid advert and document information from www.afrotender.com and www.extratenders.com ; and conduct self-registration via link https://www.ethiotelecom.et/supply-chain-home-page/”/.
3. Interested bidders are expected to fulfill the Requirements stated here below:
a) Availability of Bid Security (150,000.00)
b) Availability of Letter of Authorization to sign the bid offers.
c) Anti-bribery pledge form.
d) Bidders should have a Valid and Renewed Trade License for the year.
e) VAT Registration Certificate.
f) Availability of Compliance Statement
4. All Bids must be accompanied by a bid security for Birr 150,000.00 (ETB One Hundred Fifty Thousand only).
5. The bid bond shall be furnished in one of the following forms: –
a) Certified Cheque /CPO issued by a recognized domestic bank or
b) Bond issued by and/or confirmed through a recognized/reputable Domestic bank.
5.1 The Bank that issues the bond as per 5 (b) here above shall unequivocally guarantee to pay the purchaser immediately upon the first written demand of payment. The Purchaser’s written demand of payment shall not be subject to any condition what so ever.
5.2 The bond issuing bank shall clearly incorporate the content stated under Clause here above on the issued bond.
5.3 Sealed bids marked as “Tender for the Supply of Different Types of Cafeteria Materials with RFQ No 4079689 and be addressed to:

6. Bid proposal will be received at Ethio telecom, Head Quarter 2nd Floor, Room No. 211B, before or on May 2, 2022 until 5:00 P.M. Bids presented by any bidder after the closing date shall not be accepted.
7. Bids received in time and fulfilling the other formalities shall be opened in the presence of interested bidders or their legal representatives on May 3, 2022 at 10:00 A.M, at Ethio telecom, Head Quarter 2nd Floor, Room No.210.
8. Partial bid is allowed.
9. No one is allowed to duplicate or transfer the bidding document that she/he acquired to participate under this invitation.
10. Bidders are seriously advised to read and comply with the instructions provided in this bidding document.
11. Ethio telecom reserves the right to reject all or parts of this bid.
12. Since there will be a site visit during the technical evaluation every bidder should make available the items they have participated in on their site.
