As part of phase-III 4G LTE service network expansion strategic plan, our company has launched 4G LTE services in 67 towns and made additional 4G LTE network expansions in the already service launched 27 towns.
Particularly, we are delighted to announce that 4G LTE service is now available in 6 towns of the telecom Central East Region, 13 towns in the Central North Region, 7 towns in the East East Region, 8 towns in the East Region, 16 towns in the North East East Region, 18 towns in the North East Region, 9 towns in the North North West Region, and16 towns in the North West Region along with South West Addis Ababa zone where there is high data demand and usage.
Thus, following the completion of phase-III 4G LTE service network expansion project, a total of 181 towns are able to access 4G LTE service countrywide. Likewise, we are also committed to upgrading and expanding 4G LTE service to meet the ever-growing data demands of our esteemed customers and based on the high data traffic/ usage in the time ahead.
The high band width or high-speed features and reliable data services of 4G LTE will play critical roles in enabling and empowering our customers to join the digital world, increase productivity and improve their experiences.
